As the Founder of Flourish HR, she works exclusively with small to mid-sized mission-based companies to deliver HR and and Organizational Development. Everyday she takes pride in working with organizations to create a strong culture that’s consistent with their values, while also ensuring compliance with complicated employment laws and regulations. When she isn’t working, you’ll probably find Diane in her vegetable garden, or enjoying a good book or movie with husband, kids and dog Linus (yes, he loves movies).

Peyina Lin-Roberts
Facilitator + Coach Peyina came into coaching and DEI facilitation via academic and private sector research and small group lifestyle behavior change coaching. In behavior change coaching, she witnessed firsthand, disparities in health, education, and access to services all within the group she coached. In such context, the notion of “coachability” was a barrier to enabling those most impacted by systemic inequities to thrive. She was raised in Central America; is in a mixed-race marriage; and has straddled industries, sectors, and levels of leadership. Motivated to make coaching more equitable and having experienced group dynamics at the intersection of diverse groups in ways others can't see, she was called to change systems that prevent untapped communities to thrive. In line with such calling, she has done coaching training for case managers supporting families experiencing persistent poverty, co-facilitated DEI workshops in small to mid-size corporations, coached executives and leaders around inclusive leadership, contributed to neighborhood anti-racist efforts, and initiated DEI efforts in the ICFWA chapter as the Co-Director of Coaching Equity.Peyina has a PhD in Information Science from the University of Washington (specializing in social and technical structures that contribute/impede leadership development, sense of community, and participatory design); a Master’s in Digital Media Arts and Technology from Michigan State University (thesis on multicultural identity development); and a Master’s in Information Management from Syracuse University (organizational culture and systems analysis). She has over 25 years of experience across sectors including research, education, media production, cross-functional team management, behavior change, leadership development, strategic visioning, and coaching.
